Scott Asheton, drummer for pioneering punk band the Stooges, dies at 64

Scott Asheton, drummer for the influential punk rock band the Stooges, died March 15. He was 64. His daughter, Leanna Asheton, confirmed the death and said the cause was a heart attack. She did not say where he died.
